Description : (R)-noradrenaline is the R-enantiomer of noradrenaline. It has a role as a vasoconstrictor agent, an alpha-adrenergic agonist, a sympathomimetic agent, a mouse metabolite and a neurotransmitter. It is a conjugate base of a (R)-noradrenaline(1+). It is an enantiomer of a (S)-noradrenaline.

Human Toxicity Excerpts : /SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS/ Overdosage with norepinephrine may result in headache, severe hypertension, reflex bradycardia, marked increase in peripheral resistance, and decreased cardiac output. In case of accidental overdosage, as evidenced by excessive blood pressure elevation, discontinue norepinephrine until the condition of the patient stabilizes.
