Dr. K. V. S. Ramrao

Dr. K. V. S. Ramrao brings with him an exceptional legacy of over three decades in the pharmaceutical industry. He has held senior leadership roles at renowned organizations including Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, PI Industries and Granules India as CEO and Joint Managing Director.

Beyond his impressive credentials, Dr. Ramrao is recognized for his vision, values and strong belief in people. He believes deeply in the potential of Clearsynth and is committed to working closely with teams across the organization as we move into the next phase of growth.

He is widely respected for his ability to make high-stakes decisions, navigate complex business challenges and lead transformative change while building alignment across diverse teams and perspectives. Throughout his career, he has played an instrumental role in establishing innovative business models, strengthening manufacturing and R&D systems, and building best-in-class practices in Environment, Health and Safety.

Dr. Ramrao holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, along with a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Biren Parekh

Biren brings more than 40 years experience in a wide variety of industries, having collaborated with more than 450 clients across such sectors as media, real estate, infrastructure, telecommunications, life sciences, FMCG, hospitality, and many more.

He has been with Clearsynth since the beginning, playing a central role in the setup of operations in Canada and R&D center in Hyderabad, as well as establishing the corporate office. He assembled a team of more than 250 personnel across various functions, such as securing DSIR approval, Heavy Water Board Agreement, and establishing relationships with key clients and vendors.

Biren is an exceptional mentor and coach whose high levels of expertise, insight, energy, focus and passion in everything he undertakes empowers him to assemble high-performance teams. His vital skills in operating strategy, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as his background in process and people management – especially within the context of large scale project management and change program mandates – provides a foundation for ensuring Clearsynth’s continued large-scale business growth.

Dr. Kandasamy Sakthivel

Dr. Sakthivel has more than 25 years experience handling multi-step synthesis projects, including NCE with new ROS or customer process.

He has rich experience in the Biotech, CRO and CRAMS industries, managing end-to-end activities ranging from R&D budgeting to planning, execution, synthesis and project management. He has an extensive list of publications and patents to his credit. A highly educated scientist, he has a PhD and postdoctorate in Organic Chemistry, Molecular Biology from National Chemical Laboratory, India, and Scripps Research Institute in the United States.

Dr. Mallikharjuna Reddy Katukuri

Dr. Katukuri is an experienced analytical research professional with a career spanning more than 17 years of successful qualitative and quantitative analysis of APIs and NCE compounds. His academic and professional credentials include an MS degree in Organic Chemistry, a bachelor’s degree in Education, and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

An expert in handling a wide variety of analytical instruments and analytical techniques for method development and validation, impurity profiling and structure elucidation, he has many successful projects and publications to his credit.

Dr. Katukuri has worked for such leading companies as Dr. Reddy's, Sannova Analytical, Vimta Labs, APL Research and Nektar Therapeutics.

Sharad Tripathi

Sharad is an accomplished professional with over 24 years of experience in sales, business development and global product management in the analytical instruments industry. He brings a wealth of expertise to Clearsynth in P&L management, strategy development, and leadership.

Sharad has a proven track record in national and global roles across food, pharma, FMCG, industrial, and government sectors; he excels in driving growth, implementing innovative solutions, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes. At Clearsynth, he plays a major role in contributing toward substantial business expansions and market strategies. His passion for traveling, reading, music, and photography complements his professional endeavors.

Shermishtha Sharma

Shermishtha has 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Her qualifications include attaining an M.Sc. International degree from Birmingham University, England and an MBA in Pharma Management from Punjab University. Her technical background of B.Pharmacy rounds out her skills, making her a more holistic leader.

Before joining Clearsynth, Shermishtha worked with other globally prominent companies, including some of the world's largest producers of APIs and catalog products in numerous settings, including Canada, United Kingdom and India.
